Skatepark Gelsenkirchen
The city of Gelsenkirchen commissioned us with the planning of a new skate park in the Hassel district park. In coordination meetings with the future users, a concept was developed that meets all requirements from a structural and sporting point of view.
On the central square of the district park, framed by woods and uniformly designed furniture, a wide range of trend sports has been created. Here you can skate, BMX, scooter or inline skate. There will also be opportunities for wheelchair motocross (WCMX) or playing basketball.
Strolling visitors to the district park can watch the sporting activities, and those interested will be encouraged to join in. A graffiti concrete wall can be sprayed by users. The facility is also illuminated, so that even in the evening hours nothing stands in the way of recreational fun.
The new skate park in the Hassel district park was officially opened on April 12, 2022 and is used by local users in large numbers and with great pleasure.
