After a long period of planning, smoothing concrete and asphalt for hours, the Pumptrack and Skatepark in Ingelheim has been completed. A new hotspot for Ingelheims scene has been purchased. Make yourself a picture and look at the photos of the project on the project page.
The construction of the new pumptrack in Reichshof has officially begun. In a few weeks, the mountain bikers in the area can let off steam on the new track.
On 18th of may 2019 the pump track on the grounds of the Child and Youth Center St. Hubertus was officially opened. The pump track was put on the test sample by numerous bikers, which was a great success.
It’s done! The Skatepark, which we have planned in cooperation with skate-aid and SOS Children’s Villages Worldwide in Syria, has celebrated its official opening. We were commissioned to create attractive and up-to-date sports and leisure facilities at the Hombruch youth camp. The concept provides many different areas on the multifunctional area: bowl, snakerun, slackline, football field, street area, pump track, children’s run, parkour, calisthenics park, lookout hill, barbecue area and grass court. We presented the Backyard e.V. and local Skaters and BMXers of Oldenburg different designs for the new outdoor park. The planning for the final park is in full swing after the feedback!
It will not be long before the asphalt pump track on the grounds of the Hubertus Child and Youth Center is completed. The crew of Velosolutions do a good job on the construction site!
After the first construction phase of the ice sports facility has almost been completed, we were also commissioned to plan the second construction phase. End of 2021, the complete second phase of construction with skate park, pump track, fistball fields, renaturation Lettenbach, multifunction fields and much more be completed.
The crew of Camp Ramps does a good job in building the Skatepark in Ingelheim which we planned. Completion is scheduled for mid-June.
For the landscape architecture office Lohaus + Carl we have created the detailed planning and the tender of the movement landscape made of concrete. The construction of the free-formed area is due to begin in early April and the opening is scheduled for the end of June. The team of SKG will implement our planning on site.
Skatepark builder Arne, Peter and Gabu and four others landed in Damascus and construction has begun! Our colleague David Welter will support the crew next week.

Namibia’s first inclusive skatepark opened in Windhoek on 23 February 2018. In a cooperative venture involving Global Experience Münster, Global Experience Namibia, two UNESCO schools (Schillergymnasium and Primusschule) in Münster, Germany, and the aid organisation ‘skate-aid’, this unique facility has been built at the National Institute for Special Education (NISE). Skateparks are very attractive vehicles for development cooperation for a variety of reasons. They promote social and integrative skills, as well as coordination and sensory-motor skills. Unlike classical club sports, the emphasis here is on self-organisation and group cohesion. They therefore represent a very good means of selfhelp: instead of competitiveness, cooperation is encouraged and is lastingly anchored in society. On September 7, 2016, we will hold a lecture on skate and bike parks in Muelheim, Germany under the title Sports Facilities 2.0: open, free and outdoors? The Sport Service Muelheim, sport league muelheim and the Sports Federation of NRW, Germany will held this meeting on 7 September 2016.
The construction of the multifunctional skatepark started in November 2015. The project is realized with the support of Skate-Aid, SOS Children’s Village and the German Post/ DHL. An international construction team consisting of an American, a Serb and two Germans will build the skatepark in Palestine.
